A Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining multiple clients' IT infrastructure and systems. Your primary role is to ensure the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of the clients' network and computing environment. You play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure for each client, ensuring their systems are secure, optimized, and running smoothly.

*A company car is provided with a valid driver’s license. Our office is located in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Travel to various client locations to perform onsite work on computer and network hardware and/or software.

2. Troubleshoot network issues.

3. Provide helpdesk support to clients.

4. Work proactively to improve clients’ technology.

5. Deploying and setting up servers, networks, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, etc.

6. Communicate with client contact to make necessary decisions and ensure satisfaction.

7. Install/replace/repair hardware and software as necessary.

8. Back up all client data to ensure no data is lost and that the client can get back to where they started, never creating a worse-than-when-arrived situation.

9. Make suggestions to the client PSE (Professional Service Engineer) regarding upgrades or changes that could enhance the clients’ network/system and/or further allow for an enhanced overall client experience.

10. Develop policies and procedures for troubleshooting specialty issues, including identification, documentation, distribution, and resolution.

11. Assess new products or services and suggest enhancements to management.

12. Formulate and follow projects for clients.

13. Rely on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.

14. Assist the service desk to resolve other outstanding tickets effectively.

15. Field telephone calls, email communication, and support tickets regarding computer hardware and software.

16. Reinforce the image and professionalism of the Executech team.

17. Effectively communicate with internal and external contacts at all levels.

18. Promptly enter time into timesheets, tickets, and all other required documents.

19. Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

· 5 + years of IT Systems and Network Engineering experience combined

· Expert of SharePoint administration and design.

· Expert knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Intune.

· Strong Knowledge with Windows Server 2012 – 2022

· Strong knowledge of VMware / Hyper-V virtualization solutions

· Strong firewall, routing, and switching knowledge and experience

· Experience in migration from on-premises Active Directory and File Servers to EntraID and SharePoint

· Experience with some or all of these hardware & products preferred: Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Palo Alto, Meraki, SonicWall, Sophos

· Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills a must

· Excellent project management skills

· Excellent mentorship skills, patience, and guidance to Executech staff

· Previous Project experience required

· Knowledge of office equipment (copiers, fax, printers, etc.)

· Valid Driver’s License

Typical Working Environment:

Work in a temperature-controlled office environment

Low to Moderate noise levels consistent within an office environment; staff, phones, collaborative dialogue

Physical Demands:

Constantly talk, hear, sit, use keyboard/ten key, fine dexterity with hands and repetitive hand motion.

Frequently lift and carry up to 20 lbs., push/pull up to 20lbs, reach outward, walk-normal surfaces, grasp, and hold.

Occasionally lift and carry between to 21-50lbs., push/pull between 21-50lbs, reach overhead, kneel, climb, and stand.

Rarely lift and carry 51+ lbs., push/pull 51+ lbs., squat, crawl, walk-slippery surfaces, walk-uneven surfaces, and bend.

Hours of Work:

This is a full time position.

Typical workdays are Monday - Friday, from 8am to 5pm

Hours may vary to meet the needs of clients and business operations. This may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
